Did you know that the Mt. Pleasant Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (MPACVB) has invested $424,000 back into our community through their Destination Development funds? Or that they coordinate hundreds of youth athletes and their families for statewide competitions to take place in our sports facilities? Join us at "It Starts With a Visit," a lunchtime learning session to learn about how tourism impacts Mt. Pleasant all year long.
This event will feature a panel of local leaders discussing the impact of tourism on the Mt. Pleasant area, why investing in tourism is critical the success of the community, and why residents matter in the tourism conversation. The panel will be headed by Chris Rowley, Executive Director of the Mt. Pleasant Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Panelists will include:

🌟 Tara Leonard, General Manager of the Baymont by Wyndham
🌟 Marcie Otteman, Deputy Chief of Alumni Relations and Constituent Engagement for Central Michigan University
